About Tracy Broadley Jackson
Tracy has over 30 years experience of working in both the NHS and independent sector, dealing with a people who have neurological conditions such as PD. MS and MND. She has also successfully treated clients who stammer and who have voice problems.
During her career, she has fulfilled many roles which includes clinical lead and specialist in acquired neurological disorders, team leader, lead for local and national research projects and chairman of a professional study group.
Since qualifying she has undertaken continuous study in all areas of her work.
She has gained several post-graduate qualifications:
- Certificate in Counselling
- Advanced Dysphagia (swallowing difficulties)
- Leadership Award
- Lee Silverman Voice Technique (March 2017)
- Solution Focused Brief Therapy (November 2017)
- Certificate in the Principles of Dementia Care (June 2018)
As well as working in acute, neuropsychiatric & mental health hospital settings, Tracy has worked in care homes, people’s own homes and out-patient clinics.
Tracy has a passion to provide practical solutions to communication and swallowing problems. She believes that long-term conditions require long-term support.
